I started playing around with some of the photos from Tate and Patrick's wedding tonight, experimenting with different vintage effects and here's what I came up with. Tate was such a beautiful bride it made my job a lot easier! More photos and slideshow still to come.
“To me, photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place... I've found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.”- Elliot Erwitt

assignment #1- photograms
our first assignment in my photography class was to create the photography miracle- photograms. these images are made without a camera, lenses or any other type of photographic material other than paper. the first few were kind of rough but by the time I finished with the tape, I pretty much had the hang of it.
the very beginning
So I finally got this blog up and running and now I have no idea what to blog about! I started cleaning off my camera cards before shooting Tate and Patrick's wedding a few weekends ago and found some pictures from this summer that I thought were worth uploading to jumpstart this photography blog. Our puppies (Riley, Rowdy and Reagan) and trips to the beach pretty much capture the essence of the whole summer. I'll be uploading pictures and a slideshow from Tate's wedding, along with pictures from my photography class and of everyday life soon. Enjoy!
